Imposter Syndrome?

Today is a good day. Not only is my newest book officially available to purchase on a variety of different websites, but, I’ve also finalised the cover for my third poetry book today.

Honestly I’m so shocked that I’m actually earning royalties from the first book. It’s not much but to be fair… poetry is a really hard sell anyway.

Plus I think I have imposter syndrome. I still can’t believe people have actually enjoyed my first book. I guess they like it? 🥴

I know it’s not traditional poetry. I wouldn’t put myself up there as one of the great poets. I’m no Lord Byron. But honestly I’m just always surprised.

I’d have less imposter syndrome if it was a book. I know I’m a great storyteller but poetry is still so far out of my remit that I’m like a deer 🦌 in headlights.

Back to my second book! It’s called The Fault In My Stars because I’m so unlucky in love 💔 and life in general. This book was published through Hybrid publishing which means I made a minimal investment and a publisher deals with the headaches of design, formatting, listing ect.

It’s available on so many websites that I’m kind of in awe. Like how is my name out there. It will literally be available on Apple iBooks, Barnes&Noble, Kobo Books, Smashwords, Odilo, Scribd, Gardners and obviously Amazon and all its branches.

If you read my last book, I hope you enjoyed it so would be willing to read the new one too.
