Screen Writing

This semester I only have one teacher who is teaching us HOW to write for screen and tease out characters.
I’m really enjoying this module because eventually I’d love to be able to adapt one of my pieces into a TV show.
I recently wrote about a character who was initially based upon someone I used to work with. From his name to his physical description. But I obviously changed it beyond that. And as the questions were asked, I realised something… I’ve created a character that I wouldn’t have ever thought of without the initial questions and the additional questions especially the on the spot questions that Tom asked me AFTER I described my character. I’m loving these classes. They might be my favourite ones yet!
